Quick was the first pup born of Contact Point Border Collies, born on June 15, 1999. She was my first Border Collie and the matriarch of the Excel Border Collies line. Being my first Border Collie (plus I was only 13 years old, myself), we had to grow together. We developed an amazing partnership over the years, and had much great success.
Quick was the perfect blend of talent, drive, structure, and temperament. I'm so grateful that I was able to start my line with such a special dog.
Quick thrived in performance sports. She started agility training as a pup and never looked back. Most notably, Quick won the 2006 AKC National Agility Championships in 20" and made the USDAA Nationals Grand Prix, Steeplechase, and DAM Team finals on numerous occasions. In addition to Quick's national success, she competed internationally on the USDAA's 2006 IFCS World Team, where she earned 2 Gold and 3 Silver medals.
Quick also competed in Herding, and has earned Started titles with the American Kennel Club and American Herding Breeds Association.
