Prize is a Smart daughter. When I did the breeding to make Prize, I really wanted another Smart, except with a bit more angulation and length of back. I got exactly what I was hoping for! Prize has all the personality of Smart, plus her own little flare. Funny enough, she's actually a bit of a throw back to her Grandmother Driven's personality. Prize is a super affectionate snuggle bug, with a great work ethic. Like Smart, Prize is a little soft, but with great recovery. Prize is my ideal agility package.
Due to COVID, Prize missed out on her first couple years of "working through young dog things" in the ring for agility. However, we are coming together as a team and making up for lost time. Prize is an exceedingly gifted athlete and has an amazing agility career ahead of her.
Despite our lost time, Prize was selected in 2022 as a Wildcard and 2023/24 as a member of Team USA for the World Agility Open in the Netherlands! At the 2022 WAO, Prize made the Pentathlon Finals, with multiple top 10 finishes in individual classes!
Prize has also been invited to the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge Western Regional in Medium Agility. She WON the Regional Championship in 2021 and 2022, and finished 2nd in 2023. In 2021 and 2022, Prize was also invited to compete at the Incredible Dog Challenge National Finals in Grey Summit, MO, where she finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In Spring 2023, Prize competed in the Intermediate division at the 2023 AKC World Team Tryouts in MO, where she as selected for the AKC World Team Short List. Also in 2023, Prize won the UKI West Coast Cup and USDAA Western Regional Grand Prix Finals. These wins earn Prize a spot directly in Finals at both the 2023 UKI and Cynosport National Championship events!
