Lightsaber (“Light”) is out of Prize and Bonnie Johnson’s Rooster. While the hope was for a little Prize, she turned out to be a bigger and bolder version. Plus with just a bit more attitude to match.
Light is a happy, exuberant dog with tremendous toy and work drive. She loves having a job and is a joy to train, consistently giving 100% in everything she does. In addition to agility, she has also begun herding training, where she continues to show promise on stock. We are hoping to do more herding in the future.
Light began her agility career in Spring 2022 and quickly began to succeed. In 2022, she competed at the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge Western Regional and National Finals Weave Competition, earning 3rd place at both events. She handled the televised environment with confidence and clearly enjoyed the energy.
In 2023, Light competed at the Cynosport World Games in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, earning multiple placements in the highly competitive 20" class and continuing to build her Agility resume.

- 2026 IFCS World Agility Championships – Team USA
- 2026 AKC National Agility Championships – 20" Challenger’s Round
- 2025 AKC ISC Championship – 20" Finalist
- 2022/25 Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge Weaves Finalist – 3rd place
Looking ahead to the 2026, Light is set to compete at the IFCS World Agility Championships, a UKI Cup, multiple USDAA Regionals, and the Incredible Dog Challenge in the spring/summer. Followed by a full fall schedule including the West Coast Open, Cynosport World Games, and possibly the US Open. With her drive and love to work, Lightsaber continues to develop into an exciting Agility partner.
